CEO OF CRI INVITED TO PRESENT AT BUSINESS SUMMIT ON GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE ACTION

KC Tran, CEO and co-founder of Carbon Recycling International (CRI) has been invited to address the Business & Climate Summit, which will be held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris May 20-21, 2015. The summit is organised to take place 200 days before the much-anticipated UN Climate Change Conference (COP21), in Paris November 30 - December 11 2015, where world leaders are expected to reach the first universal and legally binding climate agreement for all major emitters.

The Business & Climate Summit brings together over 1000 leading business, investors and policymakers to discuss global climate action, enabling sustained economic growth while limiting global temperature rise to 2°C. At the conclusion of the summit a series of policy recommendations will be presented to policymakers to galvanise action and ambition leading to COP21 in December.

Mr. Tran's talk will be titled "How Power-to-Methanol technologies enable a circular economy," and is part of a session highlighting the role of companies and governments, as well as regulation and standards in shifting to more efficient production and consumption patterns.

Mr. Tran has also been invited to participate in a special dialogue between business and government, to frame the main issues for the December UN Climate Conference 'Paris Agreement'. This forum, which takes place prior to the Business & Climate Summit, is hosted by Mr. Laurent Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Ms Segoiene Royal, French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy.

The Business & Climate Summit will be launched by an opening address by French President Francois Hollande on Wednesday May 20. Among key organising partners for the Business & Climate Summit is the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, International Chamber of Commerce, The Global Compact, Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, The Consumer Goods Forum and We Mean Business.
